Skin care in Ramadan

Skin care in Ramadan

Ramadan is a time of joy, self reflection and prayer. During Ramadan our whole diet cycle changes and therefore a lady while fasting, skin care shouldn’t be neglected. If you want healthy skin in Ramadan you need to nourish it a little more than usual. So don't forget to follow the 3 step daily skin care routine (Cleanse, Tone and Moisturize.) during Ramadan. Fasting is good for skin care as it treat skin diseases, because if the amount of water in the blood is reduced, the amount of water in the skin is also reduced. It increases the skin’s impermeability and resistance to bacterial disease. It reduces the extent of skin diseases that can spread over a large area of the body such as psoriasis. It reduces allergies and other skin problems hence Ramadan is good for skin care.
In Ramadan each day when you take your bath or shower, try to use warm water. Hot water dries out the skin. In Ramadan, try to limit your shower to fifteen minutes or less in the bath or shower for skin care. Avoid using harsh soaps for better skin care. Exfoliation is often overlooked when it comes to skin care, but it is an essential step to keep you looking young. Microdermabrasion, retinoid, and chemical peels are all great methods by which to exfoliate your skin by removing the dead skin cells on the surface of the skin so in Ramadan don’t neglect skin care.

So enjoy Ramadan by cleansing your facial skin and your mind. Fasting will induce peace and spirituality but at the same time ladies don’t forget to look after your facial skin.
